Based on the April 2017 TIOBE rating, R is one of the top 15 programming languages and continues to grow. It's currently among the top three languages used in Data Science. This session will review some basic statistical concepts before introducing R for data analysis. It will discuss the fundamental concepts needed to work with R and use IDE to work with R commands. There will also be a demonstration of using R for data analysis using publicly available data, and using R tools for Visual Studio and Microsoft R server.
