Datamarts were added in 2023 and data flows have been around since 2019 and both can be used to improve the quality and consistency of data models within the organization. In this session we will examine how to create dataflows and datamarts. More importantly this session will describe how they interact with workspaces, how to incorporate them into Power BI Models and when doing so would be a good choice. Of course, we will review when you can use the features of each depending upon your Power BI license as the functionality differs between Premium and Pro. Gaining a good understanding of these different data storage options will provide the information you need incorporate these features into your organization.
