Leveraging the power of service workers provides many new benefits including the ability to work in the background not requiring browser user interaction, as well as the ability to work offline. With wide browser support for the service worker and PWAs, it's time to evaluate the option of leveraging one for implementing a native app as a more efficient model, while continuing to capitalize on our existing web development skills in the process. In this session, we'll look at the benefits of using a PWA, and build a basic PWA using Angular, TypeScript, and Ionic.
