Many are referring to serverless architecture as Cloud 2.0. According to Gartner, more than 50% of the global enterprises will have deployed serverless architectures by 2026.
Serverless architecture can offer huge advantages to an organization including a true usage based consumption and drastic reduction in the total cost of ownership.
However, serverless architectures can present several potential challenges including Limited tooling, architectural complexity, lack of lower level infrastructure control.
In this workshop we will take a deep look at serverless architectures. We will start with a review of serverless architectural patterns. Next we will cover various Azure services that enable serverless architecture including of Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Event Grid, Azure Cosmos DB. Finally, we will look at strategies for breaking down business logic into discrete components suitable for serverless architecture.
