Azure Data Lake Analytics are used to provide meaning to data stored in an Azure Data Lake. This session will show how to analyze the data using a U-SQL, a powerful new query processing language. Attendees will learn how Data Lake Analytics can analyze large data sets through its features which provide the capability to scale code to provide meaning to large volumes of data. While reviewing how to use Data Lake Analytics, attendees will learn techniques to create a development environment to write U-SQL code in Visual Studio locally, a best practice providing an economic and efficient development methodology. Best practice techniques for creating a Data Lake will be reviewed to provide the greatest analytic capability when that analysis is required.
