There have been long awaited updates in the Business Intelligence stack and new features to bring analytics into SQL Server 2016. The SQL Server community can rest now that Microsoft showed the world it is not leaving On-Premise features as is and only working on Cloud. Their motto is Cloud First, but this just gives the "I want my own server" group with a Cloud tested product before the release.
SQL Server Reporting Services has the most improvements with a new Website that is modern and tablet/phone friendly. The updates to Analysis Services concentrate on Tabular Models but performance has been improved with Cubes. The start of package parts in Integration Services seems to be the most important and we will look at why.
