This session will be all about writing PowerShell for SharePoint. It will cover both SharePoint Online and SharePoint On-Premises. We'll go over the difference between the two platforms when it comes to PowerShell so you'll be comfortable to start writing PowerShell against either platform. We'll also look at how you can leverage PowerShell to automate tasks and make broad change across your environment that may impact multiple sites. Ben will provide some examples of instances where spending time writing a PowerShell script has enabled him to save time in the long run, or provide valuable information to the business. To conclude the session, he will also provide a brief example of how you can leverage PowerShell report and to gain insights about SharePoint that aren't available in the GUI.
